i have a question about adding donation as a product can it be done ?

also about subscriptions too how can i add that ? if you know please help

Your question is immensely vague. You can sell anything you like. If you want to call that product "donation" or "t-shirt", it's the same thing in the end: you're collecting money for something from the customer.

You can set up a product with the price of 1.00 and let people purchase as many of those as they wish to "donate"/buy.

If by "donation" you mean some sort of automated way of sending the collected funds to your local charity, you'll need to write custom code to do that. Or just write a check.

Zen Cart doesn't have built-in recurring billing support at the present time.

well i know usaepay have that feature on the site itself maybe you guy could add in a code later ?:) as for subscriptions can i add it in as a product ???

You can add whatever capability you like if you're willing to write the code to support it. There's a lot more to "subscriptions" than just charging someone for a product.

ok thank you i talk to usaepay and they help me with that. i have another question is when you are in the admin tools in zen cart and you go to tab Catalog and then click on to Categories / Products . then i click on my product . and then i see a drop down box . and it say product -music , document- general ,document - product . how can i change or edit because some of the choices i will not use . next question is document- general ,document - product when i know that i can use them on what product ?

anyone knows ??? on my last question above ???

i thought i could ask more then one questions in one post .
if i do change i need to know php or understand it to change it ?
