Changing Main Page Default text

I am a novice and desperately require help. How do I enter my own store name on main page of cart, I have read the info via FAQ in tutorials section, but simply can't locate the area they suggest when I return to the admin section of my cart.

I fully understand how to introduce my own text but can't find where to do it. I open the template page where I find the default English language and default template, I click edit but there is no text box or someewhere to enter my own text.

Can someone please tell me step by step how to enter my own store name and remove the default congratulations message, oppologies if I appear stupid.

You can't edit most PHP files from admin - the only exceptions are the files that appear in the dropdown in Admin - Tools - Define Pages Editor.

For the rest, including the one mentioned in the tutorial above, you need an FTP program (many here use Filezilla) that will allow you to download the file you need to edit from the server to your local computer, edit it using a good text editor (I use Notepad++) and reupload the edited file to the proper folder on the server.
