What is this news addon?

We are looking to use a blog / news plugin that can display direct to the front page for SEO.

This site has pretty much what we are looking for on their front page. http://www.laboursoflovebabygifts.co.uk/

I have noticed the news plugin looks like a complete seperate php file on the shop directory.

We do have a blog on blogspot that supports RSS, but RSS readers seem to have problems reading from it.

Also we dont want to use word press if possible as you have to use old wordpress versions.

That's an OsCommerce site, using an OsCommerce module.

There is a NEWS add-on for zencart - we use it HERE - but it needed quite a bit of updating to make it function, and our RSS feed is still faulty.

I don't know if it contains a feature to show it on the main page, but I imagine it should be possible to code that.

Kuroi is more knowledgeable than I on this add-on, and I recall reading somewhere that he was looking at updating it... Don't pester him though - he's a VERY BUSY person!
