Error when changing to a catagory

Error when changing to a catagory

Hello

I have an error when clicking on a main catagory, when I click on a main catagory the content on the main page doesn't change however the subcatagories appear underneath the main content.

If however I skip straight to subcatagories they appear fine.

Do you know how I can fix this so that subcatagories display properly when I click a catagory, thank-you.

Im using XXAMPp to edit locally.

The main page content doesn't dissapear when I select a main catagory, it stays where it is and the subcatagories display underneath it, discription included.
