Delete / Disapprove Gift Certificate, HELP!!!

Hi,

Today I had an order placed for a number of high dollar gift certificates and upon checking with the customers credit card company found that they were bought with a stolen credit card. I have already credited the customers card but now I need to cancel that gift certificate sale and remove it from the queue. I have searched the threads and have found no help. Any help on removing this is greatly appreciated!

The coupons in the queue are in the table:
coupon_gv_queue

You can go into phpMyAdmin to remove them ... it will have the orders_id and customers_id on it ...

Any idea how the code looks in the table? I am a fairly new zenner. Want to know what I am looking for to delete. Will it also delete from my queue in the admin section?

Go to the table:
coupon_gv_queue

and search for the:
orders_id

that the GV was purchased for ...

The coupon_gv_queue table has the information of the:
unique_id
customer_id
order_id
amount
date_created
ipaddr
release_flag

The customers_id and orders_id should match the bad order and the customer who made the order and the amount of the GVs that were purchased ...

NOE: if the order had multiple GVs such as:
1 for 25.00
1 for 50.00
1 for 15.00

you will have 1 record for each of these but they will still all have the same orders_id and customer_id ...

I see gv_queue, but not coupon_gv_queue under the public html/Admin section.

You are looking via FTP at the file names on your server ...

You need to go to your Control Panel for your domain and look at your database for your site via phpMyAdmin ...

phpMyAdmin is NOT part of Zen Cart ... it is part of your Domain's Control Panel ...

There is not table called:
gv_queue

in Zen Cart ... it is called:
coupon_gv_queue

I see it in the php admin. If i click the delete icon in this box will it delete it from the queue in my Zencart admin as well as from the customers account?

Make sure you are on the correct orders_id and customers_id to do this ...

The Delete will Delete the record ...

AWESOME! It worked! While I have you on here I have a couple of other questions. 1. Is there a way that I can change the time zone of my server from my control panel? 2. Is there also a way that I can remove these bad customer orders?

BAD ORDER

and change the Order Status to:
BAD ORDER

with an explanation on it and NOT delete orders from your site ...

Deleting Orders leaves holes in your data ...

As to the time zone on your server I am afraid I cannot help you on that one ...

Problem with moving it to another area or zone it still shows up on my sales reports and makes them incorrect.

You should adjust your Sales Reports to skip the orders that are set to CANCELLED or BAD ORDER ...
