My Alien Stemware theme wont let products display as columns

I've searched and can't find a solution to this, my old theme gloss black showed products in a 3 row column display, when I switch to alien stemware it goes back to rows when you display all products. I have already set the settings to display columns not rows in the admin settings and copied the code for the columns display, same as my other theme that works fine. here's what my site currently looks like with rows, even though everything is set to columns

Just because you still have the settings available in admin does not mean the template has the product listing files to use the settings. Download the Column Layout Grid mod from Free Addons - you don't need to run the SQL patch, just install the two files. Or you can probably just copy /includes/modules/gloss_black/product_listing.php and /includes/templates/gloss_black/templates/tpl_modules_product_listing.php to your alien stemware folders, as long as there were no customizations especially for gloss_black.

Thank you!!! I did the first one, but didn't realize it had to be in the modules directory to! Alien-stemware didn't even have a folder, so I created one, dropped the file in, and it instantly worked, thanks much!!!!!
