Strange Attribute Request
I have a odd request and I'm not sure it's possible but I thought it couldn't hurt to ask!
I have a website that sells personalized jewelry. Each piece can have different add-ons that a customer can select from. You can add a charm, a birthstone etc. These are NOT required they are optional.
On the ones they decide NOT choose I have a --- (dashed line) in the attribute dropdown box.
There are 20+ dropdowns on almost all of my products and here is where I have the question. When you place the item in the cart the WHOLE list of attributes show up, even the ones with the --- dashed lines. So even though something "useful" has not been chosen it all still shows up in the cart and during checkout.
Is it possible to have the attributes that have the --- dashed line (or I could make it blank) NOT show up in the shopping cart and checkout. So ONLY the attributes that were chosen that will be part of the finished product show up?
If anyone has a solution to this or thoughts I would appreciate it!
