Handling fee for USPS is not being added during checkout

Handling fee for USPS is not being added during checkout

I have the US and International fees set, but they are not being added to the total checkout amount. What information do you need to help me troubleshoot this?

Now that I dig further, free shipping is also set to add $7.00 as a handling fee, and it's not being added either. ???

Did you enter the Handling fee as:
7.00
-- or --
$7.00

What are your settings for the USPS shipping module in the right hand panel? :unsure:

I'm trying to copy and paste the settings, but the fields are being removed when I click submit. I'll format it into a jpg and post it.

You are using a customized USPS for Rate v4 ... you might look for its support thread and see if someone can help you ...

Customized? I haven't done anything to customize any shipping module. Perhaps the template I used from template monster used a customized version of the shipping module. Should I just reinstall the latest usps module to get it back to "un-customized"? Even if it was customized, how does that explain USP not charging handling fees either??.. unless it was customized for their template also. I haven't customized either of those modules my self.

If you turn 'debug on' XML dump, open the shipping estimator with an item in the cart, does it give any information that might be helpful for troubleshooting.

When I add a cane to the cart and estimate shipping, I am given $18.80 for priority mail.
When I use the USPS clickNship estimator, I'm given 11.80 for priority mail.

That seems to indicate that the $7.00 is being added to the estimate being received from the USPS server.

Are you expecting the $7 to show up as an additional line item?
