added a new language and I get BOX_HEADING instead of text

Hi guys, I have named this thread the same way that I searched for it on Google so hopefully when others have the issue it will show them.

I have added a second 'language' to the site although I have removed the word language in order to make it a select country (while I'm on the subject, does anyone know if you can do it so that when someone changes the 'language' it automatically changes the currency ? please.

so back to business, I copy pasted my 'English' folder and renamed the clone 'Ireland' I have upped it to the server and now have it on there and have removed the text that says 'languages'.

Now, sadly, if I click the Irish flag, it loses all the names of my products and has BOX_HEADER instead,

Can anybody please assist ?

Thanks a million.

Firstly, Hi Stevesh, I see you help alot of people out on here and am really happy you have taken the time to respond.

I have uploaded it to my Languages folder.

Re: added a new language and I get BOX_HEADING instead of text

:oops: my bad, I didn't clone the english.php file.

So... I cloned the file english.php and renamed it Irish.php, uploaded it to the Languages folder and now it's all good !

Thanks again.

P.S, in order to make the currency switch along with the language, I opened language of your choice goes here.php
and in there I searched for any coding that says Currency.
I found it and changed the currency to EUR and now it switches automatically.

// if USE_DEFAULT_LANGUAGE_CURRENCY is true, use the following currency, instead of the applications default currency (used when changing language)
define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'EUR');

Problem Solved - Case Closed. :smartalec:

One other thing that I found when adding another language that seems to get missed is that you also need to "clone" your /email folder and copy those files into a newly created /email/ie directory (assuming that **ie **is the two-letter code for your Irish language files).
