Duplicate Orders with v1.39

Hi,

Were receiving duplicate orders on our website with v1.39.

we have a customer who was charged twice.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

We've had this problem for months.

Though others seem to have problems with:

• paypal callbacks creating duplicate order ids
• the submit button being pressed many times by users (I believe a fix for this introduced in 1.3.9)

....the problem is caused for us by our payment gateway SECURETRADING executing a callback for the credit card 3DSECURE check.

What amazes me is that this problem could surely be easily fixed by doing some decent checking of the previous order number to see if the name, address, total amount, etc is 100% the same within the last 5 minutes?

Surely there is a better solution to stop duplicate orders being made by actually having some error checking made by ZenCart to see if the previous order is clearly a duplicate?
