Template & Images Issues

It has been a while since I've used Zen Cart and recently installed v150 via Softaculous on a new install. Had everything working great, then something went haywire with the template and images. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling at least 4 times, the problem still remains. The files are where they are supposed to be, but for some reason the images are not showing up and many are cut short and distorted.

The template I'm using is Patriot and if you look at the screenshot as it is supposed to look and what the site looks like now (https://www.hillbillycraftworks.com), leaves much to be desired. Viewed it in Chrome, IE9 and FireFox. The last two are worse than Chrome.

I've tried fresh installs, re-downloaded the templates and re-installed them fresh as well, but the same result of the missing/distorted images.

Can someone more experienced take a look at my site and offer suggestions as to how to fix these problems please!

Thank you in advance!

Hmm, looks ok to me for a site (obviously) under construction. The few images on the site aren't really revealing what your problem is. Which images are actually missing?

Viewed the link in FF (Linux version) and I can't see any distorted images.

I'm not seeing any images at all in any browser except the ads.

It is under construction, no bones about it Frank. I'm adding a screenshot as to some of the issues I'm talking about, as well as one showing the problems I'm talking about.

There are other areas where the button images are distorted like the "Add To Cart" button, such as the "Change Address" "Update Cart" and so on.

Re: Template & Images Issues

Can anyone see the 2 images I posted in my above comment? I can't. Makes no sense to me.

Re: Template & Images Issues

First things first. Zencart loads all stylesheets whose names begin with 'style' and with the css extension it finds in the current template's css folder. If you need those old stylesheets in that folder, name them something like stylesheet.bak rather than stylesheet_bak.css.

Get rid of the ones you aren't using and we'll see what we have.

Also, the images from your last post don't display here. I get the rex X in IE, and a solid gray screen in FF.

Re: Template & Images Issues

Check your FTP settings... to transport IMAGES, the transport should be BINARY MODE, not ASCII...
