SSL problems when hosted with netsol

I am not new to Zencart. But I am also not well versed with technical issue. My v139h site at https://www.birthdayandmore.com is behaving strangely. Didn't notice the behavior untill today when on of my registered customers complaning that they can't log in to my site. it was caused by by ssl. after I disable my ssl, my customer was able to log in. but then UPS shipping quote was not working. so i din't some investigation and found nothing wrong with its setting. Then i noticed something really strange. The footer is not display my static ip correctly when i am brwosing my site. It is displaying another ip other than my static ip. Two other site that I have hosted on the same Netsol account are working correctly while this one is not. I restored the site to an earlier time. THat did not work. Then I restored my database to an earlier date. That did not work either. Netsol hasn't replied to my support ticket yet and I am afraid that my site is hacked? Can anyone confirm this behaviour in my site for me with their static IP? Am I hacked? :frusty:

You are probably seeing a different IP which netsol uses as a proxy.

Netsol has always had problems with providing reliable SSL services, and despite us asking them to make it possible on numerous occasions, they still don't configure their servers in any traditional way that can do SSL correctly. Thus Zen Cart can't operate properly on their servers when you wish to use SSL.

You'll need to direct your requests for help to your hosting company. And probably find a better one.

thank you for your speedy reply dr Byte. That means i don't have to worry about being hacked at this point. I will definately that this to netsol. This problem occured when i used their shared ssl until the login problem came up. so i went and bought ssl from them and had it installed and it worked fine for a couple of weeks and now this. Any reliable host you can suggest?

Is this the problem you are referring to that pages will display the "secure and non-secure" content warning? Is the eonly way around it is to have all pages served SSL?

With netsol you'll need to run your site in either entirely SSL or entirely NON-SSL.

Better to find a better host.

Thank you again. Now I know what the ssl problem is. I would not have used them if i knew that. Strange thing is that i just started to encounter this problem. I had my hosted with them for more than 4 years and was using their shared ssl and it was never an issue. Strange host. Really strange.
