Some category pages do not show products

Hi great community,

I want to share an issue that we are trying to troubleshoot during the last week without success. Hopefully someone can help us out.

Domain name is okidoqui.com. We have many modules installed including multisite, permission manager, Simple SEO, and many more. We also have SSL certificate installed.

The problem is that some category pages are showing all products and some do not. For instance:

http://okidoqui.com/accessories-cables-cable-accessory-c-585_590 is working
http://okidoqui.com/accessories-and-cables-cable-accessory-cable-clips-c-585_1390 is not working (0 products, which is not true)

Also we see products under such category in the admin store (one of this product is http://okidoqui.com/-c-0/netshelter-sx-750mm-cable-ring-set-p-730479).

We checked very well the multisite module configuration and they are well set up. Please let us know which files or part of files you may need us to post for understanding what the problem is.

Could you turn the SEO/rewrites OFF so we can test what is happening on your site?

We have products posted on many portals. It is now off. I will leave it off for next 45 minutes. Waiting for your reply.

I leave it off for other two hours. Sorry for the limitation but we lose many visitors.

If I well understood the question, no, the category 1390, which is http://okidoqui.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=585_1390, has only products.

The products are not showing up while they do exist. For instance, this product http://okidoqui.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=676249
belongs to category page http://okidoqui.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=585_1390 but his category doesn't show up products.

There are 29 more products active in the store admin but they do not show up.

i activated the SEO module. Please let me know the time that you may take a look at the issue and I will deactivate again.

Check that Product by looking at it in your Admin and click on C for Copy and Click on Multiple Category Link Manager ...

What does it say its master_categories_is? There should be a yellow dot on it ...

You found the issue! The master category id is invalid. I don't know why? Actually I didn't know about the Multiple Category Link Manager. I changed that and the product is showing up.

Now, how can I solve the problem for all the products. Shall I change all products manually? Or is there a way to change that setting in some other ways? When I click under product master category, I get only one option. Should I reset the master category ids from tools->store manager?

Do you use Linked Products and/or Import your Products?

If you do not use Linked Products, then you can use the Store Manager to:

Reset ALL Products Master Categories ID
to be used for Linked Products and Pricing:

Update ALL Products Price Sorter
to be able to sort by displayed prices:

I do not use Linked products. I did reset and now every product shows up.
