Addiontal images do not display for images/subfolder

Hi,

I am looking for a way to make additional images in image subfoder work. I have many products, so I want to split their images in subfolder.

When I upload the images in Images folder, the additional images displayed nicely. But when I upload the images in the subfolder of images, the additional images do not display.

The addiontal images work fine if uploading the images in https://www.domain.com/images

The additional images do not work if uploading the images in https://www.domain.com/images/subfolder

Yes, both main product image and additional images are in /images/subfolder

Your subfolder name doesn't happen to contain spaces, does it? If so, replace the spaces with an underscore (_) and see if that helps.

No, my subfolder name does not contain any spaces or else. It is just a name.

OK, for the product associated with the image what does your admin show for the "Image Name:"? It should show Image Name: subfolder/filename.ext, followed by "Upload to directory: [subfolder]", where the [subfolder] is a dropdown list with the current selection being subfolder.

Yes, everything is going in the right direction.

In the admin, I select subfolder/image.jpg, but I do not get any additonal images shown.

In the subfolder, the images are displayed as followings:

image,jpg
image1.jpg
image2.jpg
....

My subfolder is located in the Main Directory.

image.jpg

/images/subdirectory

oh no. image is just an example. My image names are not like that.

For example:

I upload all images to the folder name: coffee, and the folder "coffee" is created inside images folder:

/images/coffee

I hope what I explain is clear now.
