USPS ship mod - not showing in cart...

Hi,

My mod is installed and turned on, but I get the below message in the cart on checkout:

"We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use..."

Just wondering if I missed a switch somewhere else in admin...

Which USPS shipping module did you install?

Could you go to your Zen Cart Admin and to the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... and in the bottom input box enter:
usps.php

what comes up on the version id for those files?

I'm having the exact same issue that nadsab is having. noticed today 4/25/12.
Followed Ajeh's instruction and received this response:

Warning Error: No matching Configuration Keys were found ... usps.php

Hello nadsab, did you ever resolve your usps shipping issue? I am still having the same issue.
This is the first time i'm using the forum so any help from the experts would be greatly appreciated.

BunzByChaCha, what version of zen-cart are you running? One reason I ask is that starting with v1.5.0 the USPS shipping is no longer part of the "core" zen-cart installation. You can download the USPS shipping plugin here: http://www.zen-cart.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1292.

Hey there, thanks so much for the reply. I'm currently running Zen Cart 1.3.8a. If i'm under v1.5.0 do you suggest still DL this plugin? (or should I upgrade my Zencart?).
I'm up for anything. Right now i'm dead in the water regarding the shipping and having my customers contact me directly for shipping quotes (which isn't going so well).

Hi - can I jump in on this thread? I am having sort of the same problem:

I have Zen Cart 1.3.8a (I know I need to upgrade but I need to find someone to do it for me. waaaay too confusing for me!)

Anyway I downloaded the Jan22 version of the USPS module and I replaced the php files in includes/languages/english/modules/shipping and also includes/modules/shipping but my shop still says:

Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time.

I should also say that I first installed the newest download but then I wrote over that with the Jan22 version. Each time I uninstalled the USPS module in my admin, uploaded the two php files to my server, clicked install in my admin, and then copied my old settings including my webtools user id.

My ToolKit search says:

 Searching 979 files ... for: usps.php

hmm, I just replied to this but I don't see my reply. Weird. Maybe it's with my USPS mod.

I am looking at some of my products and see this:

Yes, Skip Shipping Address<---(this is checked) No, Shipping Address Required
Warning: This product is marked - Free Shipping and Skips Shipping Address
No shipping will be requested when all products in the order are Virtual Products

But so far, everything is marked "no, normal shipping rules apply"

All of my shippable products have a weight assigned but my virtual products do not.
