no category meta tag option

Hi, I am trying to change the meta tags and decription for my catergories but there is no option in the admin pages.... I have updated the tags for individual products but the blag/orange symbol is not present in the categories menu. Can anyone help?

Go to your admin, and look at your categories - look at the last icon the far right - Metatags

Thanks dgent but hence the title of the thread - there is no icon for metatags for my the categories. There is for products but the last icon on my category menu is for shipping zone...

Shipping Zone ? What exactly does that icon look like ? If you go to Admin - Catalog - Categories / Products and see a list of your categories, there should, at the far right, be four icons for each - green, red, purple and black-and-white.

XX is your category path.

Ok, this is all a bit strange. Thanks dgent, your link works. My icons are as follows:
Green edit, red delete, purple move and finally greenish shipping zone (with letters SZ) .
I get an error not found when I click on the last icon. This is different to the product listings. Have I installed a funny mod?

Nothing, the only thing I have set is the zone rates so that postage to uk is zero but elsewhere is £15....

Could you go to the Catalog ... Categories/Products ... and do a View source and search for:
edit_category_meta_tags

do you find this? :unsure:

Copy a fresh unmodified version of admin/categories.php into your store and see if that fixes is (back up your old file first) It may break some mods depending on what you have installed.
