Abbington Mega Template [Support Thread]

Did you ever figure out how to do this? I am trying to do the same thing. The only answer I can find is to remove the contact us from the header. But I like it that and would like to keep it if I could get it to work correctly.

I have been working with this theme and absolutely love it. I've only run into one major issue thus far, somewhat hard to describe:

The mega menu submenu links are not clickable on the leftmost ~40-50px of the submenu items. It was initially behaving this way on all submenus, now it seems to be only on the first submenu level.

I've poured over the css, tried tweaking things here and there, and haven't found a solution. I am utterly stumped.

I believe that you are seeing default behavior. Are you tring to hover where there is no link text?

OK, I figured out the issue with the link... this is the thread I had found previously. I made the switch to #whatsNew but the tab is not open until you click it. I'd rather have the new products displayed automatically when the page loads rather than the user to have to click the tab. Does that make sense?

There is not a "fix" becase it is not a bug ;-) See this for instructions on how to change which tab shows by default:

You shouldn't have to click on the tab for the new products to load automatically. I would do a fresh template install and then try the instructions again.

No, that's the weird part. The screencast video I linked to shows this: the child menu items don't accept the mouse hover until about ~30-40px into the link text (if it is the link text that's the problem. I suppose it could be the container box holding the links).

Anyway, I'm almost ready to go online but ran into a snag. Everything WAS working fine yesterday, but I've lost my social media "facebook/twitter like" buttons on the product pages. Now...I'm so frustrated!!!! Hahahahaha Typical....

The only thing I've done since yesterday is to install tabbed products pro and the additional images mods. I'm going blind trying to figure out where the 'like' buttons have gone and have tried everything I can think of with this small mind. PLEASE, can you point me in the right direction?

It sounds like you didn't merge the changes from the modules into your template tpl_product_info_display.php file. I would recommend downloading the template package and merging the code for the addthis social bookmarking into your current tpl_product_info_display.php file.
