However my point was if you try and help people with your free ones maybe someone (me) would be inclined to pay you for some services. Just to say it is done in stylesheet is very vague.

I will happily pay for good service, but shoddy service as vague answers will not get a dime or a reference from me

I am using Abbington Mega with Zen Cart 1.5.1 and I just went into Define Pages to add wording to the main page and lost the slideshow. Does anyone know the html code to add the slideshow back in?

That's another error that hasn't been fixed I always do it using an editor instead of define pages...... you can always go back through the files you uploaded and upload the file again or find the file outside of your override folders, you are using overrides right?

You can not use a html editor to edit a php file that contains php code. This is not a bug or error, just a fact of life. You need to use a plain text editor. I would recommend uploading the file from the template package and making your edits using a plain text editor ;)

and to piggyback on this.. I too agree this is not a bug or an error that needs to be "fixed". If using the defined pages editor from the Zen Cart admin, you must make sure that you select the "text editor" before editing files that contain php code.

Thank You Diva was waiting for your reply - now I don't ever use the define pages editor for mainpage but I have read enough of your posts to know better. I prefer editing directly though and ctrl+z works wonders!

I am having problems with the slide show displaying the images. It is blank, do you know what would cause this?

I would recommend adding the image to a sidebox using the banner manager.

There are no hard coded links in the template. If you have found one then it was added after the template installation.

On the hardcoded links... I just downloaded the latest version from the plugins section and <a href="http://localhost/red/index.php?main_page=contact_us"> is still there.

First off, I love the template and my site is underdevelopment at https://www.chainvapes.com

First thing, After following the install and running the sql patch I do not have the settings under admin>configuration for the template as the readme says I should. I went back through and reinstalled the template and still don't have it. Is there a setting somewhere I missed?

Second, When I make an edit in the define pages using a plain text editor, the pages are not updating when the link is clicked. Any ideas?

Everytime I change a define and it does not show up...its the wrong file. There are many files with the same name in different directories so be ultra careful. Also have you checked your runtime error logs?

I don't even see the logs but my logs folder in the root directory doesn't have anything in in it. It's not even showing up in the template selections. I guess I'll try a reinstall again and see if it fixes something. Oh I'm using zen cart version 1.5.1

Ok apparently my install was tanked. I just wiped the server and did a fresh install and everything is golden now. Now on to the modifications, I have about a month and a half before it launches lol

Well errors are easy to create. I just advised you to watch which file you are editing...and I do the EXACT WRONG THING on a mod I am doing! Coding will make you humble! lol
