Abbington Mega Template [Support Thread]

Hi Anne,

reference this > the listings look ugly because the product title font size is far too large and it is bold. I though making changes to the following would sort this out but it doesn't alter font characteristics at all;

UPDATE - this large bold text is only occurring in one category and not in any of the other nine (9) categories on the site
affected category http://www.harmonyball.net.au/harmony-balls-c-14.html
whilst on site please go to other categories to see difference.

There is also the [<< Prev] 1 2 3 4 5 ... [Next >>] problem - nothing is working to alter font color

I am trying to make the above changes using includes/templates/abbington_mega/css - is it possible that some of these changes should be made in includes/templates/template_default/css ?? or does the former override the latter?

Any changes can be made in the template css files and the changes will work. You are just not making the correct changes. If you want to make css changes I would recommend using chrome or firefox and the web developer tools. They will show you the line of the file that needs to be changed.

When I view your stylesheet.css file in the chrome developer tools, the entire page is red so there is some problem. If it were me, I would re upload the stylesheet that comes with the template package and the add in tour changes until you find the problem.

Remove your category description to see if it fixes it. My guess is that you have bad code in the category description

Thanks Anne - removing the Category Description fixed the problem - good work, well done.

Now back to the original issue of being able to change colour of font in [<< Prev] 1 2 3 4 5 ... [Next >>] - any new thoughts on this?

Hello Anne,

This template is not responsive. If you want the site to be optimized for mobile devices then you should switch to one of the responsive templates.

I am sorry, but I don't have any estimate for the conversion. It has been something that I have wanted to do all year, but have been super busy with paying customers, which, since template donations are so few and far between, have to be my priority. It would be my dream to be able to work full time on the free templates projects--updating and creating new packages. But, right now it is just not possible, I have to work on them in my free time.

How do I edit this menu and the sub menu items within the menu? Like customer service and the content it shows?

Hi. Just installed this brilliant template, but only one problem. When you click to category, it's goes somewhere to the middle of the page but not to the top as it should.

This is not a bug in the template. It is a bug in the latest version of chrome. See this:

Thanks for respond Anne. No, it happening in all browsers but accidentally I found the reason. In my case it's manufacturers box causing this. When I moved it on top, above the categories, everything started to work normal.

Yes, this is not a bug in the template, or with zen cart. It is browser related.
