Setting up a percentage off shipping coupon.

I can't seem to find an answer for this. :blush:

I am wondering if I can setup a coupon that allows for a certain percentage off shipping for individual products (not all)

So someone orders a product for $100. The shipping for that particular product would be lets say $10. So the total so far is $110 and then they apply the coupon for 50% off shipping and their total changes to $105.

Is that at all possible with the built in coupons/ shipping or with any ad ons?

There is no native setting that I know of that will do this. While it might be possible, it would require some "heavy" custom coding and possibly another database table/field.
