No longer available - the slider is now responsive. If you need to set the dimensions, you can do so in the index_home.css file for all the available slider-wrapper classes. Otherwise, the slideshow will use it's parent container width and available height (responsive).

Sorry: I don't understand. I've create 2 different banner, one with 280x255 and other 200x200
But as you can see on my homepage, no image is showing. Where I've wrong?

Oh... You should've said that in the first place.

The new module is broken and I've already submitted an updated (fixed) version, but it's awaiting approval. You can get the file here if you don't want to wait for the approval (the only change was made to zx_slideshow.php file). Sorry about that...

But image are showing too much large. And when reclycing are distorted. Is it possible to have image showing at properly dimension?

Since the slider is responsive, it will automatically adapt to the container dimensions. You MUST prepare your images to exact dimensions if you want it displayed correctly. In your case, this will probably be very hard since you're using a fluid layout. I suggest you continue using the original version of the module, not the latest.

Exactly, because I don't think you'll get it to work as expected with your fluid layout.

I've setup zx slideshow dimension to exactly dimension of images, but first show the image larger ang then the image to default dimension.
This happens in the old version (the one I have in operation), in the new, and with all the different setting zx

Please read the documentation carefully...

First, images MUST have same dimensions. Second, the slider width and height should match the image dimensions. In your case, slider dimensions are set to 280x255px, first image is 219x200px and second image is 200x200px.

On IE slideshow works fine, but image are not clickable; on opera 12 slideshow is not working fine (image show at different size) but clickable; on chrome all works fine.

I have just submitted an updated version for approval.

All previous bugs are fixed (I hope) and there are some new features - the slider is now responsive and comes with 4 themes to choose from in the admin section. SQL files have also been updated to avoid duplicate entries in case you run the patches more than once. Uninstall SQL files are also available.

If anyone wants to get the new version before it's approved, you're welcome to contact me and I'll send it over.

Just loaded the files for 2.0.1 ZC 1.5.1
I ran the uninstall SQL for 1.5.x
then ran the install SQL for 1.5.x

1. I can't hide the slideshow caption even if I set it to zero in my admin page.
2. Image's bottom cannot be displayed in the slide and the height of images shown is change whenever it swaps to another slide.

I have followed the instructions carefully, installed the SQL for 1.3.9 (there were no problems) and created the 4 slides as images and kept their names (slide1, slide2, etc). I have also added the width and height to the .theme-default .nivoSlider { label on my CSS (index_home.css)

Which would work but now I have just a blank space. http://shaftdirect.com/ tells the whole story.

Please could anyone advise what I've missed?

Debbie, this is something I missed when packing the contrib. Please go a few threads back and find a direct link to version 2.0.1 with a fix... It's still pending approval.

Joey, I didn't notice that some of the configuration settings have changed in the new version of Nivo slider so there are 2 settings in the configuration menu that are useless. If you want to hide the caption, you need to edit index_home.css file and find

Notice the part in red - you need to change that to 0 if you want to hide the captions...

Images - you MUST use images with same dimensions. This is mandatory.

The uninstall patch does NOT work for the original version as it won't remove database entries used by the old version. I'm afraid you'll need to remove those entries manually from the DB. Hint: it's the banner groups... :smile:

No, I don't plan on adding more themes. The current themes are all from Nivo so, if they add more themes in the upcoming versions, I'll make sure I add it here.
