Defining stock values for attributes

Hi,
Does anybody know or can advise how to define stock values for individual attributes? Maybe I'm missing this obvious here but when I've set up attributes for a product I only seem able to define a 'master' stock value which has no relevance to individual stock values for each attribute. Thanks

If you're using version 1.3.9h, check the Plugins area for the Stock By Attributes mod. If you have 1.5.0, there's a project going on to upgrade that mod here:
