Unable to remove or change links on my logo page.

Hello everyone,

I have been trying to change and remove some links from the logo image, but I am unable to find the exact place where I can modify the image map in the code.

You can see the page at https://www.delightfulpetsupplies.com and particularly where it says "free shipping for orders over $50..." and (right below) "we have it all". I made some changes to the shipping page and want to re-direct to a different section in my site, but can't figure out where I should make the changes even though I have been able to find the logo image.

Please help, unfortunately until this is resolved I can't really put my site out there as it would mislead the customer regarding shipping charges and such.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Unable to remove or change links on my logo page.

NOTE: you should add to your stylesheet.css for your template:

.hiddenField {
    display: none;
}
.visibleField {
    display: inline;
}

The logo appears to be an image map. You might have to contact the template designer in order to change it. I'm not sure where you'd find the image map info. You'll likely need to edit the image itself.

That appears to be in your logo at:

Re: Unable to remove or change links on my logo page.

I see "hsyong" in the page source comments. Templates by that designer have been known to delete standard functionality and create new, not necessarily according to any standard practice. So there is no telling where any particular bit of code will be; this template is a total mess from an HTML validation point of view, although we can't see the PHP that builds it (probably also a mess:).

http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fdelightfulpetsupplies.com%2F shows 120 HTML errors and 65 warnings.

..well, first of all, thank you everyone for the quick response.
I see what you are saying and that really puts me down in a hole right now since I am stuck with this site and unable to market it in these conditions. Is there any way I can fix these errors? Is there maybe a tutorial or any type of instructions that I can follow?

Thanks!

Your best bet is to try a new template. hsyong is a monkey coder. I've seen his/her rubbish before.

In the plugins section there are some excellent templates by picaflor azul. In under 5 minutes you can have a PROPER template driving your site.
