Advice needed urgently - Removing the quantity update button completely

Dear all,

Can kindly advise me how this can be done to remove the quantity update button completely from the shopping cart page. I am not very sure what is the purpose for to have this button on this page. Rightfully, when a user key in the quantity and click the checkout button, it should be updated automatically. But somehow, it doesn't work that way. Please help. Am looking through the internet for hours but to no avail. Thanks.

You could control the function to hide in the stylesheet.css

includes/ templates/ your_template/ css/ stylesheet.css

Add this declaration to the bottom:
.cartQuantityUpdate {
display: none;
}
