Re: Slow website loading

Short answer is that your images, especially the product images, are much too big (file size, not dimensions). Most of them are around 126Kb - they should be less than 10Kb. Optimizing the images will speed your site up considerably.

You are using the same image for large medium and small
Soooo... the small images are UGLY now.
They have the jaggies because it is the browser that resizes them.

Learn about using different sizes for large, medium and small
or install Image Handler and let it do it.

If you want to get rid of the jaggedness add this to your stylesheet

img { -ms-interpolation-mode: bicubic; }

As you are using a large image for the small images.
Users now have to download about 10 times as much as they should.

Re: Slow website loading

To improve your website speed. No matter what hire a good database administrator to optimize your database properly, convert some tables to innodb as max server by default is myisam, get NGINX installed as your proxy server, cached your product pages by running a cron scripts, ask your programmer he will know what to do. cache your zencart store properly where ever you need including database query.
