Admin only category

I am desperate and have to find a way to make this work. I have tried every mod but none works with the latest version of Zen.

I have one category that I need to make only visible to admin users. They need to be able to place an order for them so it will be an active category that will ONLY be visible when an admin logs in to the store....

Is there any mod or code that can make this happen? I have tried everything I know of and nothing is working.....

I haven't tested these mods, but have you tried the Dual Pricing - Wholesale mod together with the Hidden Wholesale mod, putting your admin users in the Wholesale group ?

Thanks Steve - I have not tested either of those yet - it was something I was thinking about but was hoping there was something less invasive! :-) But it looks like I may have to give it a shot.....nothing else seems to be out there.....

Doesn't look like either of those mods have been updated?!? :-( Trying to see if anyone has used them successfully on 1.5 - this makes me almost want to downgrade!

A quick installation and test seems to suggest that they work fine together on a clean installation of 1.5.0, but I'd suggest you check them on a test Zencart installation of your own.
