Email Address Exporter not show in my tools drop down menu

I have a Add in that does not appear to be working though it says it should work with 1.5

I install it as directed ( tried twice) but it does not show in the tools drop down menu.
checking the cart after each add on.
Cart was completely install fresh today.
Templates & add on installed

Worked for me on my test site - did you remember to run the SQL patch ?

Hope you are well. I do not see an SQL patch in the files I extracted. :huh:
I just re-down loaded the file from the site and I see one this time after unpacking it.
I have applied the SQL patch and I now have the addition to the drop down menu.

I have just installed the latest version - with no SQL patch needed and I have not copied across the includes> boxes folder as per "readme.txt" but I am not getting the link in the tools menu.

Any ideas?

I just installed the latest version (you're right - no SQL patch) in a stock 1.5.0 installation and it works fine (shows in Tools menu). Exactly how did you transfer the files to the server ?

Right, but did you transfer them individually, or did you just drag and drop the admin folder ? Make sure you didn't miss the email_export.php file which should be in /YOUR_CUSTOM_ADMIN_FOLDER.

Having the same problem, i.e. cant get the Email Extractor to appear in the Tools Menu. I'm running:
Zen Cart 1.3.9h
v1.3.9h [2010-12-04 21:30:13] (Version Update 1.3.8->1.3.9h)
v1.3.8 [2009-03-09 20:32:49] (Fresh Installation)

Database Patch Level: 1.3.9h

PHP Version 5.2.9-1

I have tried 2 different versions of the Email Extractor with the same failed results:

1. Zen Cart® Versions: v1.3.9, v1.5.0, v1.5.1, Date Added: 21 Sep 2012; and
2. Zen Cart® Versions: v1.3.8, v1.3.9, Date Added: 10 Aug 2011.
   My method for uploading has been to work may through the provided file structure, individually upoading each of the required files.
   I didn' skip any files and my v1.3.9h doesn't have an Admin permissions panel - I assume this comes with a later version.

I was hoping for some hints on where to start with debuging the problem.

I don't have a 1.3 test site, but the latest version of that mod says it works with 1.3.9. It might seem that the careful uploading of individual files is a better method, I think it makes more sense, in the case of mods which have all their files in the proper directories like this one, to just rename the 'admin' folder in the mod to the name of your custom admin folder and drag and drop it to the root of your store. Much smaller chance of making a mistake.

Evidently you didn't upload the /admin/includes/boxes/ files correctly.

Let me start with an apology. The Add-On works perfectly. For reasons to be determined, there is a second copy of the store on the web server, and yes, I was uploading the files to the second (not in production) version. Sorry for wasting your time.
