what is "Admin Discount Coupon Mail Status"

Hi All
I'm using coupons, and would like a better reporting system (as I'm paying another website a percentage of the sales for their referrals using a unique coupon code). I need to send him a report detailing what was sold – and a check to cover our agreement.

I see I can view a report in Coupon Admin, but it only displays the customer name and date redeemed – no total $ spent.

I can view the Sales Report and look at the column ‘Discounts’ and output to a spreadsheet and remove the items that are sold without the other website’s help – of course there is no coupon code in this report so I have to do additional work.

I see in configuration, e-mail options, I have turned on ‘Send a copy Admin Discount Coupon mail Emails to – Status’.

I’m confused when or how I receive an email after turning this on? It would be ideal to have an additional email sent if a coupon was used.

Can someone explain what this e-mail option is?

There are two options:

• Send a copy Admin Discount Coupon mail Emails to
• Send a copy Admin Discount Coupon mail Emails to – Status

The first is an email address.
The second is a status flag (0 or 1) to determine whether the feature is active or not.

When active (Status set to 1), it will "Send a copy [of] Admin Discount Coupon mail Emails to" the email address you enter. That is, when you send coupons to people via your Admin coupon screen, you will also receive a copy of the same email sent to your address.

While designed for the Customer Referrals, you could look at the Reports ... Customers Referral ... and enter the date range you want to see and it will list the Orders and show if Coupons were used on them ... not sure if that helps get you closer to what you are looking for ...

Ajeh - excellent! I at least have a way to see a report with the amount and coupon code. I wonder why my coupons are not showing up in the dropdown: "Select a Referral/Coupon Code:"

Do you think I could add the coupon code in the subject field in the sale notification email? That would make it easy to create a rule in Outlook to forward to my advertisers by specific coupon code.

You could try to customize the order.php class file and add to the subject for the store owner the coupon with:
$this->info['coupon_code']
