How do I get into my admin after renaming the admin folder?

Hello everyone. I am new to using zen cart. I installed the program sucessfully, and I renamed my admin folder as requested for security purposes. When I attempt to type in my url so that I can work on the page it gives me a 404 (page not found) error. I have no idea what this means. I changed the admin folder name and I am copying and pasting it after i type in my site name but nothing happens. Can someone please help me? Thank you.

Did you rename both the admin folder on the server and the one on your computer
What happens if you go to yoursite/admin yes type the word admin do you get a 404 or something else
are you sure it is version 1.5 you installed? how did you install it the officialway or via a quick script like fantastico or simple scripts
