Help Please products are there but admin edit error not showing up

The products are in the folder and the writing shows up in the shopping cart, but you can't edit it because the html box does not come up. It just goes down the page so far and stops loading. What is messed up so I can fix it.

1.38a to 1.39h new install of files, upgrade of database.

The HTML section is not showing up in the admin area. Reset the html from fckeditor which was installed in the 1.38a to html editor for the 1.39h version. Then the product update area stopped working. It will only load to the html area and then stops so you can not edit the text. What can be done about this. Do I have to reinstall the files for the admin area. What is corrupted, the database or the php files from the upload of 1.3.h?
