how to get hidecategories an dual pricing to work
First of all I know that the current version of hideCategories is not tested on zc 1.5 so that could be the issue. I have read several older posts on the same topic but they either didn't come to a conclusion or the fix wasn't described very well. So I figured I would go ahead and start a new thread (any help is greatly appreciated!).
So what I am trying to do is hide categories and products based off different pricing groups. I have a group for wholesale and I want to give them and only them, access to the Wholesale category. I installed hidecategories I am fine with the wholesale group members still being able to see the retail products because I am going to have separate products pages, one for "single" items and one for "boxes of 10" (all 10x boxes will be under the wholesale category). So I am not even sure I need dual pricing... I thought I was going to need it but it doesn't look that way.
Anyway I am looking for someone willing to write up a quick tutorial on the subject, what plugins would someone need and how do you install and set them up properly on zen cart 1.5 in order to get the aforementioned effect. I just want to hide specific categories and specific products from anyone who is not part of the "wholesale" pricing group.
P.S. Currently hidecategories is partially working in that it hides the category and all its products if I set it, but I have no way of granting access to the members of the "wholesale" group... no one has access.
