How do I edit text on Shipping Info and Newsletter Unsubscribe pages etc?

Hi guys can any one tell me how I change the info on the pages like
Information
Shipping
Exchanges and Returns
Contact Us
Site Map
Gift Certificate FAQ
Newsletter Unsubscribe
I need to change them via ftp only please.

they can be changed by backend ,no need to change by ftp
location: backend-tool-define pages editor ,then select the one you would like to change from downdrop

You need to edit the language files. See /includes/languages/

The fast way to find out which specific file to edit is by using the Developers Toolkit in your Admin:

Thanks for that but I have no access to the site as it was moved to a new server that is why I need to get the info from them via FTP.

As I said, the data you need to edit is contained in the many PHP files located in the /includes/languages/ folder and subfolders.
If you can't login to the site's admin via the browser, simply download the files with FTP and use your text editor's search facility.
