US and International Shipping using Perweightunit?
Hello Everyone! We are having a hard time understanding how to setup international shipping. We mainly just want to offer shipping to Canada, Puerto Rico and Hawaii. Our US shipping is fine and we are using perweightunit. The only thing is because we deal with auto parts, our shipping costs on items varies so much. Is there a way to somehow multiply the current U.S. shipping costs?
EX: shipping an exhaust system on our site costs $40 shipped anywhere in the 48 states. Average shipping to canada is double that price. So we would like to charge Canadian customers $80.
Again I don't know if this is a good way to approach this problem but the posts i've seen so far seem to deal with products that have similar shipping weights/costs. we sell body kits, hoods, exhaust systems all the way down to small accessories. So our shipping charges can range anywhere from $5 to $200. Thanks for the help!
