Create sale for select items and not whole categories?

I would like to offer some items for sale and some items not on sale in the same category. I see I can do that using "specials" but my inventory is quite large, is there a quicker/easier way to do this?

For example if you want to post a sale on Ebay you can set the sale for say 10% off and then there is a list of all your items with checkboxes next to them that you can just go down and check then create the sale. Anybody know any way to do something like this or any other options? Thanks!

Are you able to Link those Products to their own Category, then make that Category their master_categories_id so that you can use it for the Sale?

Or, is the problem more the quantity of Products that you are working with?

Or, is having a simple way to add all of the Products as Specials rather than a Sale via SaleMaker more ideal?

Hi Ajeh, Thanks for the reply! The problem is definitely the quantity of products I am working with. I like to have two day surprise sales and it would take me longer to set it up than the sale would even be in effect and then I would have to change it all back after the sale is over. I was just hoping for a simpler/quicker way

Me too. Just started a July 4th sale but only on one item in the store. Group discount apply to items even on special. I want to exclude group discount to specials.
