Drop Ship Orders & Email Options

Is it possible to have orders from particular products send email to different addresses for shipping?

Currently we have products that come from different suppliers, 1 being able to drop ship and the other being sent directly from our warehouse....

Is it possible to have 'certain' products send a purchase order email to our supplier only showing what has been ordered and the shipping address and without the price we sold it for? but other products that we designate send all the info to another email address?

Ideally if this can work we can then do a full upload of our suppliers product list and have the site auto adjust the pricing on those items since there is about 5000 products!

I would still need the email sent depending on item that was ordered

e.g. Canon Black Toner that was supplied by 'Supplier 1' to email that supplier with a Purchase Order & Shipping Info
Epson Black Toner that was supplied by 'Our Warehouse' to email our warehouse with Shipping Info

I would also need copies of both orders sent to our nominated email so we could see the transaction! .. Payment would always be sent to 1 single account!

This is a feature that would be a nice addition to Zen Cart. Not only for drop-ship product notifications for shipping, but for information products that require a human followup by specific persons as well.

Admin checkbox functionality like "send an email to this address when the following products are purchased:' would do the trick. Many cart systems offer this.

Though it has only been confirmed for previous 1.5.x versions, has anyone successfully used the Dropship Core plugin with 1.5.3 or the recently released 1.5.4? I'm using 1.5.3 currently; but may not upgrade immediately if there has been success using the plugin with 1.5.3. :unsure:

My link is for a different module.. NOT the DropShip Core module.. and I address the compatibility issue for the module I was speaking of in the posted I linked..

I assume that the link to which you are referring is the link to GitHub updated around 6/2014 for ZC v1.5.x. My 'newbie-ness' may be on display here; but is it to be assumed that the 'x' in v1.5.x includes every 1.5 version?

No.. and if you read through the rest of the Drop Shipping Purchase Orders support thread in that link I posted, you'll see that WHY is explained..
