Question mark (missing link?) home page

I have a 'question mark' image showing beneath the 'home' link on my home page which keeps its position just beneath 'home' when I re-position headers. When I mouse over it it links to my home page. Strangely, it only shows on smart phone browsers and not on firefox or IE

I'm guessing it represents a missing image link to 'home' but I can't locate what it should be or where it is.

I'd like to remove it but have limited knowledge so would appreciate some directions

I've attached a screenshot from my Sony Ericsson Xperia ray, O2 network

Many thanks

Re: Question mark (missing link?) home page

Place your mouse over the image and right mouse click and view properties, this will tell you the path of the missing image ..

Re: Question mark (missing link?) home page

Hi Mark, thanks for the advice.

I don't know how to view the properties of the link on my smart phone as I don't have a right click as such if that makes sense ! If it was showing on my browser I would do it but smart phones I'm just not sure.

Is there a way ?

Thanks,
Tony

Re: Question mark (missing link?) home page

Its custom fitin soles .co.uk

I've done what can only be described as 'dabbling' with the source code and stylesheet around the # logowrapper where I thought the link might be sitting but without success.

As I say it looks and acts fine on firefox and IE its just the pesky smart phones that show it. I don't want to lose the text of 'Home' or 'log in' just that little missing image box

Thanks again

Re: Question mark (missing link?) home page

Looking at the view source in IE, this is what I see ..

<!--bof-branding display--> <div id="logoWrapper"> <div id=""><a href="http://custom fitin soles .co.uk/"><img src="includes/templates/future_zen/images/" alt="" /></a></div> <div id="taglineWrapper"> <div id="bannerTwo" class="banners"><img src="images/header_logo2.jpg" alt="header_logo2" title=" header_logo2 " width="900" height="250" /></div> </div> </div> <br class="clearBoth" /> <!--eof-branding display-->

What you have done is deleted the div id as show above in red ...

Change to this:

div id="logo"

Then add this to the bottom of your includes/templates/future_zen/css/stylesheet.css

#logo {display:none;}

Re: Question mark (missing link?) home page

I followed your instructions and you won't be surprised to hear it worked perfectly.

I'm very grateful, thanks to you and others for supporting this forum and bringing so much light to the so-called dark art of web design. I wouldn't have my site without you all so thanks again.
