Help - website down

Hi,

I have had a zencart shop for quite a few years and it has been modified (by others) to fit my needs over the years (last adjustment was last year).

Everything has been working fine but now I have a message :-

"Fatal error: Cannot redeclare date_diff() in /home/crisscro/public_html/gem9753/includes/functions/general.php on line 3001"

on my admin login page and nothing at all on my shop page! I have restored my last backup but that has not made a difference.

Can anyone help as business has not been good lately and I cannot afford anyone to look at it so this could spell the end of the business!!!!

Thanks:frusty:

Re: Help - website down

Hi What has happened is your hosting company has upgraded its version of PHP and made parts of your site break.

First install the patches to your site.

http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.php?140960-PHP-5-3-Support-for-v1-3-8-a

If you still get an issue follow this post

http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.php?182712-PHP-ver-5-3-PHP-Fatal-error-Cannot-redeclare-date_diff%28%29-in&p=1085950#post1085950

Everyone will say you need to upgrade your site to the lastest version, which is the correct advice but that won't help out your sales issue right now, so this should get you back up and running.

Re: Help - website down

0 DB_ERROR_NOT_CONNECTED
in:
[select * from project_version WHERE project_version_key = 'Zen-Cart Database' ]
If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

Re: Help - website down

When you re-uploaded your site from a backup, you probably overwrote your includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php files which contained your database login information?

Have a look in your cache folder for a debug log and see what the error is.

There are about 4 different "issues" discussed in this thread. Which one of those are you referring to when you say you're "having this same issue"?
And which of the solutions already suggested have you tried? And what was the outcome?
