Newbie - Home page diverting to product page automatically

Hi guys

Very new to Zen Cart and having trouble setting up my page.

I have purchased a template that had a home page with a slideshow on it, but now for some reason the home page is automatically redirecting to the product page. Even when I click on home page the same thing is happening.

Could someone give me a point in the right direction? I'm sure it's a junior error :)

A link to your site would help. Does it behave the same way when you switch to the Classic template ?

The site is not up and running yet. I tried changing the template and the same thing is happening.

The template that I'm using is as per below.

This is what the main site should look like, with the slideshow etc:

Instead it keeps diverting to this page (even when I click the homepage button)
http://www.zenflavor.com/demo9/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1

What's your current setting for these two? ...

Admin->Configuration->Layout Settings->Main Page - Opens with Category
Admin->Configuration->Layout Settings->Skip 1-prod Categories

I thought I had played around with all those settings already, but I just went to (Admin->Configuration->Layout Settings->Skip 1-prod Categories) and changed this to FALSE.

And well all working like it should. YAY! Thankyou thank you thank you thank you!!!
