Styling the Special Product Listing

The Rubik template that I'm using on a secondary site here comes close:

http://www.promdressesforless.us/specials.html

It does show the description text. I don't have much description on this site.

You might download this free template to see how Yellow did it.

Reading just last night an old thread on that, he made the Specials, New, Featured and All pages look like the Category pages...they all follow the categories.

Bluecart here has a standard Specials page but an interesting All, Featured and New layout...have to take you to homepage due to switcher:

http://www.prom-mart.com/demo-3/index.php?main_page=index&template_switch_id=bluecart

Notice all the description text showing even on homepage. Another template worthy of study.

I looked at SNAF once, can it also do this? Maybe should look again.

Yes it can.
I used it here
http://www.mulkhosting.com/zencart_demo_09/
and here

@ jagall

In the latter I did that on the specials, and featured products, and I used this for stylesheet.css, and for special_index.php

stylesheet.css

.centerBoxContentsSpecials.centeredContent.back {
    background-color: #FFEEEE;
    border-radius: 9px 9px 9px 9px;
    box-shadow: 2px 2px 9px #CC0000;
    height: 195px;
    margin: 9px 5px;
    padding: 9px 0;
}

special_index.php

SHOW_PRODUCT_INFO_COLUMNS_SPECIALS_PRODUCTS == 0 ) {
$col_width = floor(100/$num_products_count)-1;
} else {
$col_width = floor(100/SHOW_PRODUCT_INFO_COLUMNS_SPECIALS_PRODUCTS)-1;
}

Re: Styling the Special Product Listing

I got this right by simply:

and add to .specialsListBoxContents
margin-left: -5px !important;
