add Google AdSense & google +1 button can some please help me

Hello, :smile:

being a newbie & having no knowledge of computers & web design, I cannot get any of these to work, can some one please advise me as to how I add the Google AdSense banner & the Google +1 button, I did try to add the html code in the banner manger........nothing worked.....as usual! :dontgetit
unless I watch one of the tutorials on youtube, sadly I could not find one for any of these

Hmmm the Google +1 button has now appeared.....does the site sometimes take time to update? still not got the AdSense banner working :-/

Arh I have sussed it, I went on to the lay out boxes controller & turned on side boxes yay! easy lol

add two code
one: “<!– Place this tag in your head or just before your close body tag –>

such as just before includes/templates/your template/tpl_main_page.php’s “</body>”

two:”<!– Place this tag where you want the +1 button to render –
<g:plusone></g:plusone> ”
such as beside logo at includes/templates/your template/tpl_header.php

Why do you want to put AdSense on your site?

This sounds totally dumb to me...

You want to build a Ecommerce site, and the minute your visitors arrive, you want to tell them to go to your competitors????

It takes HARD WORK, EFFORT and LOTS OF SWEAT to drag potential customers to a website, and surely the ONLY way you want them to leave is through the checkout process?

Imagine if you had a shop in town. Every day, you stand at the doorway, and when a customer tries to come in, you say: "Sorry... please don't come in to my shop... rather go over the road to that guy..."
