Help with setting up Free Downloads

Hi

I have set up an area for free downloads.
I have set up the attributes and it showes in cart as free
When someone goes thru and takes one it goes thru fine
But even tho I have them as free they cannot download untill i chnage the order status from pending
Is there a way to make them avalible right away?
In my tests i only took free items but it told me "NOTE: Downloads are not available until payment has been confirmed"

any ideas?

The Order Status of the Payment Module controls whether the Download is available right away or not ...

By default, Downloads are available for Orders Status:
Processing (2)
Delivered (3)
Updated (4)

What Payment Module are you using with the Free Downloads? What is the Order Status set to for it?

I have freeorder as well as cod, check and paypal set up
I went in and changed the freeorder to delivered
will see if that helps
