any ideas how to a/b split test my homepage?

Anyone have any ideas about how to split test the zencart homepage (at the least) and the overall cart pages (at the most).

There is an old thread (closed) on this: http://www.zen-cart.com/showthread.php?106101-A-B-Split-Testing-For-ZenCart-homepage however the information is no longer valid as Google doesn't support multivariate testing anymore. They've integrated website optimizer and thus a/b split testing into google analytics.

So the question would be or rather, the answer, likely would be to figure out a way to perhaps use the override system and modify the necessary files and information thereof to create the necessary subject files with renaming conventions (like tpl_main_page.php and tpl_main_pagetest.php??) so you could build a split test experiment and then figure out how to set up the experiment with google so they can see the different pages.

In the aforementioned thread, there is a mod that is presented to do split testing however I am not altogether certain that is a good idea as Google would have no way of knowing you are running an experiment and they tend to get a little funny if they figure out you are delivering one thing to one person and another thing altogether to some other person. So that might not be a good thing.

Anyways, if someone has some ideas on this, would be great this is something might be good to figure out.
