layout setting for product listing

i am working on setting up the tabbed products pro and my original product listing looked like the following link

http://shop.kelleymotorsports.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_36_42&products_id=86

and after i added the tpp it changed it to the following.

http://shop.kelleymotorsports.com/test/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_31&products_id=1

for some reason the add to cart button has white around it now
the reviews tab font is black and cant read it.
and is there any way to make the white box where the type is to black with white text to match the rest of the page?

it is in one of the following files that it changes but not sure exactly where
tpl_product_info_display.php
tpl_product_reviews_default.php

thanks for all the help!

border: 1px solid #E3E3E3;
color: #010101;
font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
font-size: 12px;
line-height: normal;
padding: 2px;
}

test/includes/templates/theme590/css/tpp/alt_tpp_tabs13.css

.tabcontent {
background: none repeat scroll 0 0 white;
border-bottom: 1px solid;
clear: both;
color: black;
float: left;
width: 100%;
}

Re: layout setting for product listing

one last question before i start adding a bunch of parts.

on tpp, the additional images are not showing up. they were before the tpp and yes the feature is turned on under the tpp configuration section.

this item below should have 2 additional images.

http://shop.kelleymotorsports.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_36_42&products_id=85

main images "nu8503st.JPG"
second "nu8503st-1.JPG"
third "nu8503st-2.JPG"

this is one example but none of the 3 products i have added are creating the "additional images tab" i know its something simple maybe file name? just cant pin it down.

Re: layout setting for product listing

There is a comprehensive readme with the TPP module. Have you been through it?

Also... you should keep everything in filenames in LOWER CASE.

nu8503st.JPG

should be

nu8503st.jpg... making sure of course that the name in the database follows the protocol as well as the actual filename.

And TM is the cause of MANY problems with add-ons.

Expect to spend many tearful hours on this forum as you try to customise and modify your site.

Re: layout setting for product listing

Sorry, if schoolboy couldn't pin-point it, sure I can't.

I'm sure you've done it, but in these cases I go over, and over it till I get what I missed out ... or start over again.
BTW where exactly are the images supposed to be displayed? in the tabs, or next to the main image? (just my curiosity)

Doesn't have to do with your image problem, but I would add a bit of padding to
.tabcontent

Re: layout setting for product listing

In the page source of the URL you post above, I am seeing:

<!--bof Additional Product Images --> <!--eof Additional Product Images -->

... which means that the additional images are not even loading - either inside or outside of the tab.

have you switched on the feature (additional images)?

Re: layout setting for product listing

Check this setting:

ADMIN >>> CATALOG >>> PRODUCT TYPES >>> click on Product General, then select EDIT LATOUT BUTTON on right hand side.

Show Product Additional Images: Set to 1.

Also

ADMIN >>> CONFIGURATION >>> IMAGES >>> Product Info - Number of Additional Images per Row: (What value is set here?)

Re: layout setting for product listing

checked all the settings and everything was on and the products per row was set to 3.

this is what the code says is tpl_product_info_display

<!--bof Additional Product Images --> <?php /** * display the products additional images */ require($template->get_template_dir('/tpl_modules_additional_images.php',DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'templates'). '/tpl_modules_additional_images.php'); ?> <!--eof Additional Product Images -->

fyi, i changed the tpl_product_info_display back to the original file and they do show up.

check this

http://shop.kelleymotorsports.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_36_42&products_id=85

Re: layout setting for product listing

ok after studying the code a bit (which i know very little about) it appears its missing maybe a .php or something at the end of the additional images section. if you compare to the others, its the only one not the same.

<!--eof Attributes Module --> <!--bof Quantity Discounts table --> <?php if ($products_discount_type != 0) { ?> <?php /** * display the products quantity discount */ require($template->get_template_dir('/tpl_modules_products_quantity_discounts.php',DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'templates'). '/tpl_modules_products_quantity_discounts.php'); ?>

<?php } ?>

<!--eof Quantity Discounts table --> <!--bof Additional Product Images --> <?php /** * display the products additional images */ require($template->get_template_dir('/tpl_modules_additional_images.php',DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'templates'). '/tpl_modules_additional_images.php'); ?> <!--eof Additional Product Images --> <!--bof Prev/Next bottom position --> <?php if (PRODUCT_INFO_PREVIOUS_NEXT == 2 or PRODUCT_INFO_PREVIOUS_NEXT == 3) { ?> <?php /** * display the product previous/next helper */ require($template->get_template_dir('/tpl_products_next_previous.php',DIR_WS_TEMPLATE, $current_page_base,'templates'). '/tpl_products_next_previous.php'); ?>

<?php } ?>

<!--eof Prev/Next bottom position --> <!--bof Reviews button and count--> <?php if ($flag_show_product_info_reviews == 1) { // if more than 0 reviews, then show reviews button; otherwise, show the "write review" button if ($reviews->fields['count'] > 0 ) { ?> <div id="productReviewLink" class="buttonRow back"><?php echo '<a href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_PRODUCT_REVIEWS, zen_get_all_get_params()) . '">' . zen_image_button(BUTTON_IMAGE_REVIEWS, BUTTON_REVIEWS_ALT) . '</a>'; ?></div> <br class="clearBoth" /> <p class="reviewCount"><?php echo ($flag_show_product_info_reviews_count == 1 ? TEXT_CURRENT_REVIEWS . ' ' . $reviews->fields['count'] : ''); ?></p> <?php } else { ?> <div id="productReviewLink" class="buttonRow back"><?php echo '<a href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_PRODUCT_REVIEWS_WRITE, zen_get_all_get_params(array())) . '">' . zen_image_button(BUTTON_IMAGE_WRITE_REVIEW, BUTTON_WRITE_REVIEW_ALT) . '</a>'; ?></div> <br class="clearBoth" /> **<?php } } ?>** <!--eof Reviews button and count -->

Re: layout setting for product listing

There is nothing wrong there. The part in question doesn't have or need the closing } that the other parts have, since it doesn't have an opening
if (whatever) {. ```php
... '/tpl_modules_additional_images.php'); ?>

<!--eof Additional Product Images -->
```php
... '/tpl_products_next_previous.php'); ?>
<?php } ?>
<!--eof Prev/Next bottom position -->
WHERE in the TPP version of the file, is the Additional Images section?
If it is ABOVE:
<?php
//BOF :: Tabbed Products Pro ::
echo '<div id="tpptabBlock" style="display:none;">' . $tabData . '</div>';
//EOF :: Tabbed Products Pro ::
?>
... then is is not going to be included in the TPP system.
Re: layout setting for product listing
is there any way to manually type on each page to show the additional images other than the php file? i would be willing to do it manually if it would show up.
Re: layout setting for product listing
ok, should have done a little more checking, but the additional images opens in the same window but has no "Close" or "Next" and "Previous" buttons. you have to click back to go to the page description again.
should be something simple but i'm over looking it i'm sure.
Several days ago I said your problem would be TM...
And I also said you would spend many long, tearful hours / days / weeks / months / years / decades on this forum looking for solutions.
Most helpers on the forum do not go near TM (because we don't like being in tears all day long), so you are unlikely to get much help on these templates.
If you want a calm and ordered life, get rid of TM junk, and build a template from one of the many good free ones available.
