Wine attributes or features....

I am building a wine ecommerce site after securing some deals with importers and producers in the UK.

On installing a template that I am hacking around a little to get the style that I want, I am trying now to create a good layout for the product page.

I am wanting to display some key 'features' or 'attributes' for the wines that would be part of the database rather than just HTML coded in the description.

For intstance, I would like the following fields in the product creation page where I could select these options

• white or red wine.
• grapes. A text field to type the grapes used in the wine
• country. a drop down of countries
• taste. a drop down selection (sweet, medium, dry, light, medium-body, full-bodied)

I have looked at the option manager and this seems to allow me to create options that customers can fill in rather than attributes/features of the product itself.

Any tips or pointers on this one?
