Black Pure Free Template Issue need some help

I'm using the black pure free template and I'm trying to change the background color of my site but for some its not working. I know i need to edit the includes/templates/my template/style.css but once i change the color it doesnt do anything to my site. Any help would be great guys

There is no style.css at your site. The main stylesheet is stylesheet.css. If you want to change the color at either side of your mainWrapper, you'll need to uncomment the red part:

body {
margin: 0;
font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 0.72em;
color: #333333;
/* background: #e5edf5;*/
line-height: 17px;
}

When i change the color code below nothing happens

body {
margin: 0;
font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 0.72em;
color: #333333;
/* background: #e5edf5;*/ <------------ I changed that to reflect my new color and nothing changes
line-height: 17px;
}

I also notice my background color for the body on my site is white which would be #ffffff and that code is #e5edf5 so im confussed

Would you mind sharing how its done? I am starting to use this theme too. My looks naff right now, so will need to change the colour scheme!

The color in post #5 was turned off with the /* */. Perhaps he removed them.
