Error uploading file to EP 1.5

I had EP 1.5 installed and it all seem fine but when I go to upload a file after I download the .csv I file in the fields I want to populate and I leaver others empty. When I go to upload the file I get a SQL error that reads on top in yellow: An SQL error has occured. Please check your input data for tabs within fields and delete these.

Also when I go to my EP error log file I get this, which I don't understand:

MySQL error 1054: Unknown column 'p.EASYPOPULATE_CONFIG_CUSTOM_FIELDS' in 'field list'

What am I doing wrong ? does the SQL file have an error due to its installation or is it the .csv file that im not populating it correctly.

I commented out the following lines in the easypopulate.php file as a workaround for this issue:
Note: *** I do not use custome fields. ****
This can be found if you search other versions of easypopulate on this site...
