Cannot get to the Admin Section Defaults to Main Page

There was a Safe Mode Error. Searched board they said to use the Cache Fix tool.
That is cleared up.
Someone said the fix was in the config file removing some trailing spaces...
Tried that... Did not work.
Can someone help me with some suggestions??
