How to get banners on the homepage?

Hello, I'm struggling to get a proper layout for my zen cart shop, it's getting there, but there is one thing I just don't get..
On my homepage, I would like to have a few wide banners placed, underneath eachother. I can get 1 banner, but I cannot find a way to get like 4 or 5 under eachother... I must be missing something somewhere...:unsure:

First thing we need to know is what you mean by 'banners'. Are you referring to the advertising banners controllable in Admin - Tools - Banner Manger, or just some linked images ?

Second, where do you want these banners to appear on the page ?

What I want: You see the big green banner. If you Refresh, then you see another banner on the same place. What I need is a few banners positioned under the green one, in a row. I just can't figure it out in the Zen Cart. Do I need to work into the css for that? (something to do with coding, or?)
