Looking for help to Position a Footer Image

Hi all, Im new here (at posting) but have read lots in the past. Great infor here.

Now, I am stumped on this. I have been using ZC for over a year now and I throught I know it very well until now.

My problem sounds like an easy fix but I have found it not.

I have a custom template, my footer image is off center (a lot).
I have searched, research, read lots forums but I just can not seem to find an answer.

I only want to center this image. I am not sure where to edit, php file or css file, which I have looked both.
I cant even find the right file to edit. I am not a pro css edited or php at that, but I can figure thing out. (except this)

Thanks,
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Looking for help to Position a Footer Image

The files to edit should be
templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/common/tpl_footer.php
and
templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/css/stylesheet.css

But a link to your site would be much better; you should know better having read a lot ;)

Re: Looking for help to Position a Footer Image

You have way too many validation errors. There are 10 errors with 212 warnings just in your frame.
Generally, you would not need to edit a php file to position an object. That's what the stylesheet is for.
Fixing the frame problem (try taking it out for a while) might fix a lot of the problems.

Attachment #10994 Attachment #10995

After you told me about the validation errors, which I haven't done that in awhile.
Came up with the same find you did(@dbtoe). The errors that I found, finding these files to edit, Im had/having
a hard time finding them. My lack of knowledge in this area hopefully won't drive me crazy.

I have attached my unedited stylesheet and my footer file. Maybe someone can tell me what needs edited to fix the problem, if there
even is a problem with these files.

Thanks for your input.

Re: Looking for help to Position a Footer Image

As I stated above, you will probably need to remove the frame, fix what's left, and then carefully try to bring back the frame as something other than a frame. Zen Cart and frames don't play well.
Remember, also, that any file ending in .css will be loaded when your template loads. You appear to have *****menu.css and *****menu-orig.css fighting each other. I generally just change the extension to three letters that aren't a common file extension, like jet. Don't use .old or .bak as hackers will look for those.

Re: Looking for help to Position a Footer Image

Thanks for the help and input.
I have already email my W/Deb. This is over my head. Until I learn more, I don't want to screw things
up more than they are. At least everything work for now. :D
