Have you ever had a request to replicate another store (non-zencart) using zen cart?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if you had to deal with a request to recreate a web-store in zen cart, from another site that is not running in zen cart?

For instance, if I asked you if you were able to duplicate the functionality, look and feel of http://canada.roots.com/ but to do it in Zen Cart, what would you say?

Is something like this even possible? I just see so many differences between Zen Cart and the system they use, that I can't wrap my head around how many modules would need to be added, or created... or are there some really high design, well done Zen Cart installations out there that I've missed in my review/research?

Definitely possible, but it would take a certain amount of knowledge of Zencart and its structure. Not all that difficult, though, for an experienced Zencart hand (or someone willing to become one :laugh:).
